<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:05:49
I'm sure @[Adrian Edwards] could send a pr for undo :)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>

Gwmngilfen: I think he has a couple pending PRs already, maybe you could help review those?
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:06:32
For sure, let me put that on my todo
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:06:42
!info Flock 2024 happened from 7-10 August 2024. It was our first time in the USA since 2017. An event survey is on its way soon and an event report will follow soon.

!action @gwmngilfen Review Meetbot PRs from @moralcode
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:09:09
!info AI/ML survey results were shared in @mattdm's State of Fedora keynote at Flock. TL;DNR: There are lots of opinions, but the majority of respondents were unsure/uncertain about how Fedora should integrate AI/ML into our contributor tools or the distro itself. The Council will continue to review this feedback and move toward building guidelines about the use of AI/ML in the project. The State of Fedora keynote is in the livestream on Fedora YouTube, but will be cut out into its own video soon.
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:09:32
workin on cutting those today!
<@zodbot:fedora.im>
14:09:39
jflory7 has already given cookies to moralcode during the F40 timeframe
<@zodbot:fedora.im>
14:10:08
gwmngilfen gave a cookie to moralcode. They now have 13 cookies, 13 of which were obtained in the Fedora 40 release cycle
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:10:29
There is probably more too, but my brain is still recovering from time off π
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:10:35
Anyone else have news or announcements to share?
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:10:42
Anything cool you have seen happening around in Fedora?
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:10:46
Put it out there :)
<@davdunc:fedora.im>
14:11:00
Ooh! will write up a way to include AI/ML into the project that I was shopping around at Flock/Devconf.

<@davdunc:fedora.im>
14:11:53
Hey. Sorry I didn't get into that conversation earlier, but I have a short writeup and will include it as a PRD
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:11:55
(hi ricky! this is that meeting i told you about)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:12:14
davdunc: Awesome!
<@rickdev:matrix.org>
14:12:35
Hi! Sorry I didn't say anything in intros. Learning the text format
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:12:52
I've made some time to start working on the bus data project(s) but I need a cut of the data. Justin W. Flory (he/him) you mentioned Steve had some work on that?
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:13:05
or that parquet data from Robert π
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:13:28
Ricky D: No worries :) It can be a lot to digest at first. But it gets more normal over time. In CommOps, we alternate between meetings on Matrix and video calls every two weeks. If you have questions at any point, just drop a βοΈ emoji in the chat and that will help me know to pause and give time for typing :)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:13:41
Gwmngilfen: Yes, I think that is a good segue to the next meeting topic :)
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:13:44
I do plan to continue the Shiny rework of the DNF data, but the pressure is off now that flock is done π
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>

<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:14:06
no worries! feel free tojust observe or jump in and share a sentence or two about your experience/skillset in case its helpful to anyone here if you want/if youre comfortable
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:15:03
!info At Flock, there was a Fedora Infra hackfest on the third day. Robert Wright (he/him) attended and worked with nirik and others like Steve Milner to devise a way of creating a sandbox environment with replicated fedora-messaging bus data, so you don't have to have super special elevated permissions to access the message bus data. More info to come.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:15:34
Ricky D: We can do a proper intro of yourself in #commops:fedoraproject.org after the meeting too :)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:15:53
This was the only update that I had from an Initiative POV.
<@rickdev:matrix.org>
14:15:59
Sounds good :)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:16:17
I was hoping to find Robert, Steve, or another infra member to give a more detailed update, but perhaps we can go fishing for that in #admin:fedoraproject.org later :)

Argh, need to sign back into GitLabβ¦
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:17:24
I'd give a data update in Robert's absence, but I think I just did further up π
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:17:34
(since I can only really speak for me atm)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:18:10
Hmm. I am not sure if there is an immediate update on the dashboard ticket.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:18:32
The GitLab probably needs some triage love, actually :)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:19:51
It is going to be hard for me to speak on most of the data tickets because I wasn't able to follow those conversations at Flockβ¦ I had a lot of other running around that I was doing π
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:20:04
Does anyone want to get into the data topics specifically, or is there a specific one that we want to kick off?
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:20:13
Otherwise, I could chat more about the upcoming Release Party planning :)
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:20:36
I have a number of those that affect me, but it needs Robert or Steve or similar to help me
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:20:48
or, in the case of the DNF data, just me to help me π
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:21:24
didn't we have an old action otem about making sure I had repo access? I've sent some PRs but I don't know if I can cretae a repo yet
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>

<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:21:40
Let's start on the Release Party ticket for now, and then we can circle back to any data tickets depending on the interest.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:21:43
Gwmngilfen: It is done!
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:21:54
ah, ok, adding an action for me to go try that then π

OK! So, Flock is finished and done⦠and our next virtual event is around the corner :) F41 is not so far away.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:22:32
This ticket has a high-level overview of the planning and execution work needed to organize the event.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:22:52
I'd like to know if folks here want to help on specific areas. If not, I have some asks that I think I could make to some of y'all :)
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:23:19
i can probably try and work on the various bots and automations in the leadup to the event
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:23:22
!info Contribution areas for the F41 Release Party: Content & promotion, Design & Badges, Event production, Speaker management
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:23:50
i may be able to throw together a badge to if its pretty simple like the last couple badges ive made
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:24:09
i'll be on part time though so ill prob need extra lead time
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:24:10
Neil Hanlon, Adrian Edwards: Would you two want to tag-team on the event production aspect of the party? Ideally, this means setting up the Matrix rooms, integrating the live-streams, and doing some wiki page promotion of the party.
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:24:30
are we using restream again?
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:24:41
shaunm: Do you think you could recruit a couple of CentOS-adjacent topics for the party? I am wondering about CS10 and whether we could have anything interesting to share there.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:24:44
Adrian Edwards: More than likely.
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:25:00
i can probably do the youtube side of things since i have the account. not sure about the restream stuff (can i assume youre hosting that again?)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:25:01
I was hoping Emma Kidney might be able to help with the Design side of the Release Party.
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:25:13
but yeah im down to collab on event production
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:25:18
Adrian Edwards: Yeah, I can help out with Restream. I might just share my login credentials with you.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:25:41
I know Aoife Moloney has helped with speaker management in the past, but I am not sure if she has bandwidth or not to take that on.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:25:49
Maybe it would help to have someone to tag-team it with her :)
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:25:52
also im curious if that software FOSSY used can serve the same purpose as restream
<@nhanlon:beeper.com>
14:26:03
sure thing, happy to collab w/ Adrian
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:26:06
Adrian Edwards: Since we have time right now, we could potentially explore it.
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:26:10
link: https://github.com/datarhei/restreamer
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:26:13
But we would need to explore pretty fast.
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:26:22
it may be more of a substitute for youtube than restream on first glance
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:26:31
let me know if you need any help there
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:26:47
Gwmngilfen: Are you also interested in the event production side of things?
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:26:47
i probably will actually
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:27:01
the event bot has some GDPR related issues i havent yet gotten to ot planned when im going to work on it
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:27:10
honestly ... yes-but-not-enough-to-drop-other-things-for-it
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:27:10
and thats needed to get it into my existing communishift instance
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:27:32
Roseline Bassey: I know you have done a pretty awesome job with content and promotion before too. Is this something you would like to help out with for the F41 release party? Or is there another contribution area that is interesting to you?
<@shaunm:matrix.org>
14:27:41
yeah, maybe. But we're also working on a CentOS virtual event, so I want to make sure we have fresh material.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:28:01
Gwmngilfen: Maybe if someone else was the lead, you could be a contributor to event production?
<@nhanlon:beeper.com>
14:28:07
we could share about EPEL, perhaps? if that's not overlapping
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:28:18
EPEL works too!
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:28:32
if there's an area you think I can help in, I'll consider it, sure. I'm just wary of overpromising, I do that too often already
<@nhanlon:beeper.com>
14:28:34
i.e. a call to action for folks to build for EPEL 10
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:28:39
I know there has been a State of EPEL presentation historically. If there is enough interesting material for EPEL 10, we could highlight that in the Release Party.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:28:48
Keeping in mind that the party will happen November-ish
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:29:00
we doing a formal CFP?
<@shaunm:matrix.org>
14:29:15
Topic overlap is great. There's been quite a bit of conversation about whether the "annual" state of EPEL talk is happening too often.
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:29:18
whats the timeline for 41, I'm out of the loop?
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:29:23
Adrian Edwards: I think we would stick with inviting speakers, but I would like to use Pretalx to build a schedule though.
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:29:23
whats the timeline for 41? I'm out of the loop
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:29:28

!link https://fedorapeople.org/groups/schedule/f-41/f-41-key-tasks.html
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:29:40
Ah, jinx Adrian Edwards :)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:30:17
shaunm: Could it be something more narrow than "State of EPEL"? Maybe something specifically on building out EPEL 10?
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:30:30
That might be more clickbait-y yet also relevant to people who are watching for EPEL 10 news
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:30:50
so the only thing I would note is that i'm out 9th-17th Oct, which is very close to the finish line
<@roseline:matrix.org>
14:31:08
I'd like to help out with content and promotion for the F41 release party
<@zodbot:fedora.im>
14:31:18
jflory7 has already given cookies to roseline-bassey during the F40 timeframe
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:31:24
Awesome!
<@zodbot:fedora.im>
14:31:29
gwmngilfen gave a cookie to roseline-bassey. They now have 7 cookies, 5 of which were obtained in the Fedora 40 release cycle
<@thisisyaash:fedora.im>
14:31:30
Sorry to interrupt. I'm a rookie contributor here. Is there anything I can do to help?
<@nhanlon:beeper.com>
14:31:34
fwiw I think we've pushed +2 weeks for the past ~2 releases, so, could be fine :D
<@nhanlon:beeper.com>
14:32:07
π€we don't though!
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:32:10
Yaash: Hello, welcome to the CommOps meeting! π Happy to have you here :) I know you have a pending Merge Request. Let's cover that topic in the last 10 minutes of the meeting. Right now, we are discussing the Fedora Linux 41 Release Party planning and prep in November. https://gitlab.com/fedora/commops/home/-/issues/46
<@zodbot:fedora.im>
14:32:34
neil gave a cookie to roseline-bassey. They now have 8 cookies, 6 of which were obtained in the Fedora 40 release cycle
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:32:34
Yaash: We are looking for volunteers who want to help with any of the four main contribution areas listed in that GitLab issue.
<@zodbot:fedora.im>
14:32:42
neil gave a cookie to thisisyaash. They now have 1 cookie, 1 of which was obtained in the Fedora 40 release cycle
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:33:12
Ricky D: I know this is also your first meeting, but if virtual event organization sounds like something you would like to help out with, feel free to ask a question :)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:33:39
The main gaps I am seeing is for Design and Speaker Management. I know Emma Kidney and Aoife Moloney have historically helped with that, but I might have to get their input outside of this meeting slot.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:34:36
Roseline Bassey: I think the main things we would need help with in the short-term is publishing a hold-the-date article. Later, we would want to publish more material in the lead-up to the party, including registration info.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:34:53
Oh, which reminds me⦠another Event Production thing would be setting up Pretix registration with the Matrix event bot invites :)
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:34:56
I'm guessing Speaker Management is the bot/invite stuff Adrian Edwards was talking about above, right?
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:35:03
ha, jinx (ish)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:35:16
Gwmngilfen: Negative, Speaker Management is identifying potential speakers and topics, and inviting them to speak at the party.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:35:23
As well as managing the overall schedule
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:35:25
ah, right
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:35:32
The bot is Event Production end of things.
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:36:09
yeah so far the bot only helps invite people from pretix into matrix
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:36:13
i thought you had that working Adrian Edwards ?
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:36:28
oh, right, well, lets sync up on that, Matrix is my area π
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:36:29
It works, but it needs to be configured for a new Pretix event and a new Matrix room.
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:36:33
it "works" but its "still slightly janky"
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:37:26
I know some folks might still be reading and catching up⦠feel free to drop messages in as we go. However, I think one important thing we can discuss is setting a date for the party itself :)
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:38:05
set up a rallly poll for all the organizers to weigh in?
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:38:06
The current target date for F41 is October 22nd, with a fallback date of November 5th. And Neil Hanlon correctly mentioned that we have had a few more delays in the past couple of releases :P
<@roseline:matrix.org>
14:38:12
Oh, that's fine. I'll follow up on the GitLab ticket for possible next action. Currently on my mobile phone.
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:38:14
MWF and weekends are when im most free
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:38:15
Adrian Edwards: I think it is too much overhead
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:38:28
I think we would keep to the Friday/Saturday pattern for the party.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:38:47
Adrian Edwards: I think Rallly is too much overhead for the pace we need to decide on a date
<@nhanlon:beeper.com>
14:38:54
as another data point, there was not much in the blocker review that I think is super impactful to release, but... we'll see if things get fixed in time i guess. still have some weeks
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:39:13
So, for potential dates⦠I only see two options.
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:39:22
when was F40 party relative to the target and fallback dates
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:39:34
2. November 29/30
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:39:34
1. November 15/16
<@roseline:matrix.org>
14:39:50
Oh, that's fine. I'll follow up on the GitLab ticket for possible next action items. Currently on my mobile phone.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:39:50
The week between those two dates is US Thanksgiving, so I rule it out on that basis.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:40:10
I am trying to think of anything problematic with these dates, or other international holidays to be mindful of.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:40:16
I feel like I should check the Czech holiday calendar :)
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:40:19
i officially end nov 8 apparrently - oops
<@nhanlon:beeper.com>
14:40:30
idk fedora release party may be preferable to thanksgiving this year...
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:40:32
nothing in the UK calendar will break that, I don't think
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:40:34
i officially end my RH internship nov 8 apparrently
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:40:48
it's officially boring here from August to Christmas π
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:41:16
!link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_holidays_in_the_Czech_Republic
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:41:22
November 17th is a big one in Czechia
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:41:29
any reason why its not earlier in nov? just buffer time after the fallback date?
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:41:29
obligatory Hotel California reference
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:41:47
So⦠November 15/16 seems tricky tricky on that basis. A lot of Czech folks will likely take a long weekend.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:42:10
Adrian Edwards: I guess we _could_ do it earlier⦠we used to have Release Parties occasionally before the release itself.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:42:39
We could do it November 6/7?
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:42:55
Which is the week of the release, as of nowβ¦
<@shaunm:matrix.org>
14:43:01
Current tentative plan for the CentOS event is Nov 4. But we can shift more easily. We're not constrained by matching a release date.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:43:15
I am cognizant that release weeks tend to be a very heavy week though.
<@thisisyaash:fedora.im>
14:43:17
I looked at the description of the issue. I have solid experience in graphic design ~4 year (2016-20) using adobe photoshop & illustrator. Although it's been a while since I've used any design tools, I'm happy to volunteer for the Design & Badges area if that's okay.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:43:40
Yaash: Oh amazing! Yes, that would be a super place that we could use some help. πͺ
<@zodbot:fedora.im>
14:43:49
jflory7 gave a cookie to thisisyaash. They now have 2 cookies, 2 of which were obtained in the Fedora 40 release cycle
<@zodbot:fedora.im>
14:44:05
gwmngilfen gave a cookie to thisisyaash. They now have 3 cookies, 3 of which were obtained in the Fedora 40 release cycle
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:44:29
shaunm: Good to know. But I am wondering, is it better if we combine the Fedora/CentOS event into the same thing? What if we expanded the Fedora release party to be more inclusive of CentOS?
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:44:43
I don't want to accidentally compete with you, which seems like something we might do because of the timing.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:45:02
Oh, I am going to do a Matrix thing and make a poll :)
<@shaunm:matrix.org>
14:45:04
I'll bring it up with the promo team
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:47:17
Adrian Edwards, shaunm, Roseline Bassey, Neil Hanlon, Gwmngilfen, Yaash, Ricky D, or anyone else lurking⦠drop a vote :)
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:47:53
boo, can't multi-select π
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:48:06
Going to make you choose one π
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:48:10
haha
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:48:18
boo nheko doesnt show polls - responsed on element
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:48:45
Aoife Moloney, Emma Kidney: If y'all are lurking too, you can vote in this poll :)
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:48:45
Nov 30th is St Andrews day, but that's only Scotland, a bit niche to worry about π
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:49:09
Gwmngilfen: Do you think that would impact the Friday? Like would people (like you) take Friday off too?
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:49:21
Typically, I expect that many people will do either Friday or Saturday, but not both days.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:49:37
Unless they are 1337 :P
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:49:37
not really. Mon 2nd Dec will be a Scottish public holiday, but given England won't be off it likely won't have a great impact
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:50:09
again, small country, I wouldn't worry anyway π
<@nhanlon:beeper.com>
14:50:10
hol up need to switch clients lol
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:50:25
I am seeing a favorite option so far :)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:50:34
Oh, or maybe not π€£
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:51:45
OK! The closeness of the poll is making me think a meeting decision is not going to work. Although there definitely are two favorite choices.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:52:01
Minding the time, I want to do a quick summary of the conversation so far for the meeting minutes, and make sure we are all on the same page.
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:52:06
two choices is enough to take it to a wider audience
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:52:28
!action @jflory7 Invite more feedback to the two date options for the F41 Release Party (likely pre-release or post-release)
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:52:46
ill set up a rally poll largely for this same audience as that may better account for peoples second choices
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:53:22
Roseline Bassey: Do you have capacity to be the bottom-liner for Content & Promotion, or would you prefer to be in a contributory role?
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:53:38
Neil Hanlon, Adrian Edwards: Do either of you want to be bottom-liner for Event Production?
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:54:03
not sure what bottom liner means
<@roseline:matrix.org>
14:54:08
Contributory role
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:54:09
Yaash: I am noting your interest in Design & Badges, and we can follow up with Emma Kidney in #design:fedoraproject.org since you would need to partner with her and the Design Team for this.
<@nhanlon:beeper.com>
14:54:10
same lol
<@nhanlon:beeper.com>
14:54:22
but excited to find out :P
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:54:26
Adrian Edwards: Basically being the lead of the contribution area.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:54:32
So I don't have to do it all π
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:54:54
For speaker management, I will try to get a confirmation from Aoife Moloney if she wants to bottom-line that.
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:55:33
yeah i can probably drive event production - the fedora booth at devconf didnt explode so maybe im not that bad at managing stuff when i have no idea what im doing
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:55:39
I will tag shaunm for Speaker Management too, just to cover the CS10 and EPEL 10 angles.
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:55:48
having an idea of whats needed and the target timeline would help tho
<@zodbot:fedora.im>
14:55:56
jflory7 has already given cookies to moralcode during the F40 timeframe
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:55:56
(and also some extra hands)
<@nhanlon:beeper.com>
14:56:01
I'm more than happy to support Adrian, of course.
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
14:56:07
that was a good booth! Ansible can only dream of being so well prepared π
<@moralcode:fedora.im>
14:56:33
lol the well prepared part was the pelican case from red hat tower with all the merch and laptops in it haha
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:56:33
Adrian Edwards: RE, timeline: We will keep the conversation moving :)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:56:39
I know we are very close to time.
<@thisisyaash:fedora.im>
14:56:41
Thank you for notifying. I'm excited to collaborate with the Design team and look forward to working with them.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:56:45
Let me summarize for Meet Bot.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:56:54
Yaash: π
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:57:35
!info Content & promotion: @roseline-bassey and @jflory7 to tag-team. Short-term goal is to publish a "save the date" post in September.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:58:25
!info Design & badges: @thisisyaash to contribute as a designer. Need follow-up from @ekidney and/or @mpeck. Short-term goal is to start the creation of new badge artwork and a featured image for the content & promotion team.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
14:59:11
!info Event production: @moralcode to bottom-line with support from @neil and @gwmngilfen, with support from @jflory7. Short-term goal is to create a new Fedora Wiki page to begin organizing the event, and setting up a new Pretix event for registration.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
15:00:05
!info Speaker management: @shaunm to contribute as a EPEL 10 / CentOS Stream 10 advisor to avoid conflicting with the CentOS virtual event, and find relevant topics for a Fedora audience. To be confirmed if we can combine our virtual events together. @jflory7 will follow-up with @amoloney to confirm interest in this organizational area.
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
15:00:09
<eof>
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
15:00:10
Phew!
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
15:00:17
This was a productive meet :)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
15:00:27
There is still more to figure out, but we are out of time for today :)
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
15:00:34
I've added the actions to the pad
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
15:00:36
We will keep the conversation rolling!
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
15:00:40
Gwmngilfen++
<@zodbot:fedora.im>
15:00:41
jflory7 has already given cookies to gwmngilfen during the F40 timeframe
<@zodbot:fedora.im>
15:00:50
neil gave a cookie to gwmngilfen. They now have 3 cookies, 2 of which were obtained in the Fedora 40 release cycle
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
15:00:52
I am going to end the meeting here, I have to jump to another one.
<@nhanlon:beeper.com>
15:01:02
ditto :)
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
15:01:03
I will drop some follow-ups in #commops:fedoraproject.org though!
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
15:01:07
Thanks folks for being here π
<@gwmngilfen:ansible.im>
15:01:09
quick, back to the #commops:fedoraproject.org-mobile!
<@jflory7:fedora.im>
