Does the person that is to be added as a collaborator (in dist-git) have to be in the packager group? And would that be the FAS packager group or the dist-git one?

yes

before furnishing epel requests we need to check if the requestor is packager or not as pre-requisite

May I say that in a comment, point the (hopefully future) packager to the packager docs, close it and ask the requestor to re-open later?

Second thing, I did some investigation into what options we have for how to handle the fedora-scm-requests tickets (Toddlers or Forgejo Actions). Input is most welcome (obviously doesn't have to be right now, whenever you get the time).

As mentioned during the previous meeting, mass rebuild will happen soon. We talked with Samyak that we'd meet early next week to discuss details and divide up the prep work.

I am mostly packed for this sprint, I have some tickets that i need to bring up reagrding script rewriting but I starte those conversation in releng channel with gotmax and everybody.

Good question and I was thinking earlier today, with the migration, should `fedora-scm-requests` be just `scm-requests` too? I vaguely recall that there was some discussion about dropping "fedora" from all of the repo names on the new forge.

i just wish to put some more automation around it to check for older tickets and check on every 6 months and close it in two checks

those builders no longer even exist.

yeah again more automation needed for such tickets to automatic close whose are out of range
