Good morning folks, who's here today?
<@knecasov:matrix.org>
14:00:59
Hi Paul!
<@kgiusti:fedora.im>
14:01:52
Hi!
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:03:03
Good morning! I don't have much for today- so lets get started
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:03:26
!topic 1) ==== Working Group ====
<@mcattamo:matrix.org>
14:04:18
Hi!
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:06:06
I've been writing up some small projects for people to try using iot- just not sure where is best to put them. In our geting started docs or elsewhere- like a blog or something
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:06:57
using hats for the raspberry pi (like the sensehat), kiosk mode using various hardware
<@djachimo:fedora.im>
14:07:07
Is there any harm in doing both, or linking one to the other? I think putting them in the getting started and then linking to them with a blog might make the most sense
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:08:31
true. Ok, I'll add a section for projects in our docs. Any ideas are welcome!
<@knecasov:matrix.org>
14:08:59
I will think about it and let you know.
<@djachimo:fedora.im>
14:09:51
I can write (aka claude will) a more comprehensive guide to setting up the jetson after I get it figured out, Peter's guide is great but for a noob like me there was a bit more to figure out
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:09:55
thanks! I started this because of a discussion post asking about using small screens.. thought we needed some more docs
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:10:25
That would be awesome, thanks David Jachimowicz
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:10:54
Anything else for working group?
<@knecasov:matrix.org>
14:11:15
Nothing from my side.
<@djachimo:fedora.im>
14:11:30
Nothing from me
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>

!info https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/overview?distri=fedora&version=44&build=Fedora-IoT-44-20260527.0&groupid=1
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:12:52
Testing looks good
<@mcattamo:matrix.org>
14:13:04
There's a bug reported by Peter https://github.com/fedora-iot/iot-distro/issues/136
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:14:02
Right, thanks Mario. We're going to do a new release with a couple of fixes including this one. But also a fix for the Rpi5
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:14:32
I wanted to verify this one, but havent yet. Still, better rpi5 support is good and new release worthy imo.
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:15:40
We were shooting for yesterday, but were missing something
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:16:18
anything else for f44? issues I've forgotten about?
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:17:18
!topic 3) Fedora 45 - Rawhide

<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:19:22
does the Clevis failure look different? I wonder if we can fix that for F45
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:19:49
I have nothing for F45, looks good at this point.

!topic 4) Open Issues & General Bugs
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:22:08
As Mario Cattamomentioned we have the bug peter filed https://github.com/fedora-iot/iot-distro/issues/136
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:22:31
I'll verify that today and leave a comment
<@mcattamo:matrix.org>
14:24:01
I don't see in the bug specific details about the environment where the bug appears, such as compose-id etc
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:25:32
He says it affects the GA compose, which was `0427` but then fixed in a compose after that, not sure what the fix was
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:26:08
I didnt see it, and tested ignition etc so I want to check again
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
14:26:29
