I did get a question about how am I going to push the resulting base image to the correct namespace, but thats probably a question for once it exists

One thing I wanted to mention

We have an effort to split Ignition into an RPM (so that it can be included in more workflows, like bootc container image builds): https://github.com/coreos/fedora-coreos-tracker/issues/1582

and... we also have an effort to make the butane -> ignition step not necessary (you can use butane directly for your instances): https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/f45-change-proposal-native-butane-config-support-in-ignition-self-contained/196615/2
