marmijo to investigate the use of ostree and rpm-ostree to determine their relevance and integration as part of Package-specific RPM Macros For Build Flags changes.

I spent some time looking into this last week and I don't believe the change will affect FCOS. The change introduces new flags to some macros used to set/override default compiler flags for C, C++, and Fortran packages. I checked ostree, rpm-ostree, and coreos-installer and, in those specific packages, we aren't using any of the macros mentioned in the change: `%{build_cflags}`, `%{build_cxxflags}`, `%{build_fflags}`, and `%{build_ldflags}`. We are using Rust flags and the default RPM build environment flags like `%configure` and `%make_build`, not C/C++, Fortran flags, so this change shouldn't affect our packages. If we were to introduce specific C/C++ compiler flags in our packages, we should be aware of the new flags for those macros.

We also have a lot of testing in other places so it's unlikely to impact us even if we don't get to it in time. I don't even know where to look for those test results

That is something used to verify the fedora images when we download I believe.
