08:02:51 <paragan> #topic Upcoming schedule
08:03:17 <paragan> Fedora 39 Beta freeze happened on 22nd August

08:04:31 <paragan> the current buglist for this Beta release is https://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/milestone/39/beta/buglist
08:06:43 <paragan> I see google-noto-fonts bug is already fixed and waiting for F39 stable push
08:07:01 <tagoh> I proposed one FE for Sinhala monospace font change and updates is in testing. is there anything else I should take care of?
08:07:14 <paragan> tagoh, thanks
08:08:43 <tagoh> updates page on bodhi says the update won't be pushed to stable until freeze.
08:09:26 <paragan> Sure it need to wait
08:09:35 <tagoh> Okay
08:11:14 <paragan> any bug we want to discuss from that list?
08:12:32 <paragan> there are some related to keyboard layouts but reported against anaconda and g-i-s, we can have a look at them later on
08:13:28 <tagoh> Aha
08:14:13 <paragan> lets move to next topic
08:14:20 <tagoh> I see there seems some changes around keyboard layout on gnome. not yet tested though
08:15:05 <paragan> yes as part of our i18n testweek event we can test all these new changes in F39 including new anaconda webui installer
08:16:29 <paragan> #topic Issues
08:16:40 <paragan> #info #179: Tracker for Fedora 39 Changes (pnemade)
08:16:40 <paragan> #link https://pagure.io/i18n/issue/179
08:17:57 <paragan> All our changes are completed and users can test them in our i18n testweek
08:18:06 <tagoh> nice
08:19:31 <paragan> Also I see all bugzilla tracker bugs are moved on ON_QA already which is good
08:20:46 <paragan> anything to discuss for our Changes?
08:21:35 <tagoh> Yep, looks good to me too
08:22:01 <paragan> Thanks
08:22:07 <paragan> lets move to next ticket
08:22:16 <paragan> #info #180: Fedora 37 Bug triaging (pnemade)
08:22:16 <paragan> #link https://pagure.io/i18n/issue/180
08:23:05 <paragan> This is just a reminder ticket to all of us that we have some bugs reported against our i18n components that we can triage and fix them
08:23:11 <paragan> do have a look at them
08:23:13 <sshil> HI
08:23:37 <paragan> they are still 19 bugs
08:24:51 <paragan> #chair sshil
08:24:51 <zodbot> Current chairs: paragan pwu sshil tagoh
08:25:04 <paragan> let's move to next ticket
08:25:14 <paragan> #info #181: Fedora 39 i18n test day/week (pnemade)
08:25:14 <paragan> #link https://pagure.io/i18n/issue/181
08:25:36 <paragan> From tomorrow we are going to have our F39 i18n testweek
08:25:58 <paragan> Do join and provide your test results
08:26:10 <tagoh> Yep
08:26:27 <paragan> #info https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2023-09-05_I18N_Test_Day
08:27:04 <paragan> we have updated few testcases to help test users to understand how to test and how the results should look like
08:28:08 <paragan> Does anyone have any suggestions for this testweek?
08:29:20 <paragan> if not then we are good and all is set to start testing i18n features in F39 :)
08:29:25 <tagoh> As ibus change has some instruction about kde setup, I guess we should update https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_i18n_input_method_setup for KDE?
08:32:05 <paragan2> yes that will be good
08:32:31 <paragan2> anything else to update?
08:32:53 <tagoh> and we may need to add a reference of https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_default_font_installation in any test case or an entry as standalone test case?
08:33:47 <paragan2> aha nice
08:34:09 <mfabian> If I look at https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/nightlies.html, the Last x86_64 Workstation Live image is marked red because it failed some QA test. Is it OK to use that one?
08:35:15 <paragan2> mfabian, good to use green one only
08:35:37 <mfabian> Then maybe the netinstall?: https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/compose/branched/Fedora-39-20230903.n.0/compose/Everything/x86_64/iso/Fedora-Everything-netinst-x86_64-39-20230903.n.0.iso
08:36:19 <paragan2> yes or you can pick older one iso
08:38:54 <paragan2> tagoh, added in testday results page. See https://testdays.fedoraproject.org/events/161
08:39:41 <paragan> any other things to discuss related to our testweek?
08:40:08 <tagoh> would it be better in rendering/printing tests instead of input (overall) tests?
08:40:45 <sshil> everyone is testing in diff iso ?
08:40:46 <sshil> which one I should choose ?
08:41:13 <paragan> I think its better in input (overall) tests
08:42:15 <paragan> sshil, the day on which you are going to test, check which one is available for you and use that
08:42:34 <tagoh> It is for input methods, right?
08:43:42 <paragan> if you are suggesting to add under "Input(language specific) tests" then its another good choice
08:43:53 <tagoh> it may be good to add it in setup as a reference maybe, because it is a sort of common setup
08:44:31 <paragan> sorry I am confused
08:44:58 <paragan> tagoh, we need separate existence of that test case in results page or we don't need it?
08:46:45 <tagoh> Well, initially I thought font testing should be in rendering section. but we need a font to input something right. it would be a common step to do some testing for both input and rendering. So it should be a part of setup ?
08:47:53 <paragan> I am fine but our setup testcase page already have much information to setup
08:47:58 <tagoh> We have setup-dedicated test case for input but not for rendering. we may need something or add this into all the rendering test cases.
08:48:45 <tagoh> Hm, right
08:49:50 <paragan> lets move it to "Rendering/Printing tests" section
08:50:21 <paragan> is it okay then? or you got some more suggestion?
08:50:38 <tagoh> Yes, sounds good to me. thanks
08:50:48 <paragan> let me move then
08:51:23 <paragan> will add it as first testcase under Rendering section
08:52:11 <paragan> Done
08:53:11 <paragan> anything else for this ticket?
08:54:02 <paragan> lets move to next topic
08:54:10 <paragan> #topic Open Floor
08:55:14 <paragan> anything to discuss here?
08:55:59 <paragan> if nothing to discuss lets close this meeting
08:56:22 <paragan> Thank you for joining this meeting
