16:08:48 <adamw> hi kparal
16:08:51 <adamw> alrighty, let's move on then
16:09:28 <adamw> #topic Fedora 37 review, Fedora 38 check-in
16:09:52 <adamw> seems like f37 is going over well enough, i haven't heard about any major issues we need to be concerned with, has anyone else?
16:10:12 <coremodule> nothing here
16:11:59 <lruzicka> not so far
16:13:10 <adamw> roger roger
16:13:38 <adamw> #info fedora 37 release seems to have gone well, we're not aware of any major bugs or other areas of concern
16:13:54 <adamw> lots of change discussions and things going on for f38, i see we did a change review last time
16:14:51 <adamw> Conan Kudo is proposing the big switchover for building live images at the moment, which could lead to interesting times - https://pagure.io/fedora-kickstarts/pull-request/925
16:15:02 <Eighth_Doctor> 👋
16:15:03 <adamw> #info switch to livesys services is current proposed for live image creation: https://pagure.io/fedora-kickstarts/pull-request/925
16:16:18 <adamw> there's also https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/AutoFirstBootServices
16:17:54 <adamw> i don't see anything else particularly exciting proposed in the last week
16:18:34 <adamw> #info f38 is looking fairly solid atm, except there's a problem between rpm-ostree and the latest systemd - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2141140
16:18:40 <bittin> have not really had time to catch up with all emails/proposals been sick and tired/busy
16:22:53 <adamw> roger roger
16:23:05 <adamw> anybody got anything else?
16:23:09 <adamw> on 37 or 38
16:23:29 <adamw> also, sumantro , are you around?

16:27:32 <adamw> #topic Open floor
16:27:33 <adamw> any other business, folks?
16:27:43 <bittin> there is new testing images for the new web based Anaconda (not had time or energy to test them myself yet)
16:28:01 <bittin> also Kernel 6.1 is released upstream 11th December
16:28:03 <adamw> yeah, i haven't run it myself either but seen a few articles and videos and things
16:28:35 <bittin> tested the closed beta and the first open beta, but have not had time or energy to test the second open beta
16:28:37 <lruzicka> I want to take a look in the nearest future.
16:28:52 <adamw> and my newer laptop doesn't like it very much, it seems, which was the technical difficulty in starting this meeting :P
16:29:06 <bittin> oh
16:29:08 <adamw> it black screened on me last night and failed to login on two attempts when i rebooted this morning
16:29:17 <adamw> so i'm back on the older laptop while i poke that...
16:29:27 <bittin> ah i see
16:29:30 <bittin> meetings in December or not?
16:29:35 <bittin> was something mentioned in the email
16:30:13 <adamw> i said we might skip the next one or two, yeah
16:30:14 <adamw> december is always slow, and i usually take a lot of it off
16:30:26 <adamw> haven't figured out what days i'll be off yet
16:30:43 <adamw> maybe we can do the next one on 12th and skip the one on 26th
16:31:14 <bittin> sounds good too me
16:32:35 <adamw> #info tentative plan: do next meeting (dec 12th) but skip the one after (dec 26th) for holidays
