14:02:36 <pbrobinson> we'll give people a min or so to gather but looks like a reasonable gathering already
14:03:25 <pbrobinson> #topic 1) ==== Working Group process and admin  ====
14:03:40 <pbrobinson> #link https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/InternetOfThings/PRD
14:03:53 <pbrobinson> #info reminder 1 more week for feedback to the IoT PRD
14:04:13 <pbrobinson> does anyone have any PRD feedback this week?
14:04:29 <pbrobinson> or any other WG discussion?
14:04:38 * pwhalen has nothing
14:05:01 <bcotton> PRD needs more use cases content
14:05:16 <bcotton> and probably some more measurements of success
14:05:43 <pbrobinson> bcotton: yes, I'm trying to get to do some more on it later this week, the F-29 freeze has been taking up most of my time, weekend included :-/
14:06:18 <bcotton> awesome (fsvo "awesome")
14:07:11 <pbrobinson> fsvo?
14:07:20 <misc> for some value of
14:07:54 <pbrobinson> ah :)
14:08:06 <pwhalen> heh, thanks
14:08:10 <pbrobinson> anyone else have anything?
14:08:50 <pbrobinson> #topic 2) ==== Nightly builds  ====
14:09:06 <pbrobinson> #info Fedora 29 branched builds are now running
14:09:54 <pbrobinson> there was a few teething issues, first compose happened Friday, few fixes Monday, and a lorax fix was needed too. All looks OK
14:10:10 <pbrobinson> we also now have a fedora-release-iot so even have branding
14:11:09 <pwhalen> awesome. I'm testing a recent image today.
14:11:23 <pbrobinson> #info Fedora 30 rawhide builds are also in place, a little more fragile
14:11:39 <pbrobinson> I have some fixes here around ARMv7 composing
14:12:15 <pwhalen> what fixes for armv7?
14:12:22 <pbrobinson> I'm testing them at the moment, and the anaconda/blivet patches for UEFI on ARMv7 were merged upstream today so hopefully we'll have a build today
14:12:40 <jsmith> :-)
14:12:44 <pwhalen> nice
14:12:57 <pbrobinson> pwhalen: the lorax process there differs a little from other arches so pungi dies when it doesn't get something it expects.
14:13:07 <pbrobinson> so I'm cleaning that up
14:13:26 <pwhalen> ok. also happy to do some testing here
14:14:01 <pbrobinson> so hopefully by the end of this week we should have the ability to end to end test this
14:16:02 <pbrobinson> anyone else with queries around nightly images?
14:16:13 <pbrobinson> #topic 3) ==== IoT Testing ====
14:16:39 <pbrobinson> I've been testing on a RPi3, and on virt. It looks OK for me
14:16:54 <pbrobinson> we need to start to looking at some automated CI/CD testing
14:17:07 <pbrobinson> anyone have any thoughts or suggestions here?
14:17:29 * pwhalen has started to look, but nothing to report this week
14:18:46 <pbrobinson> #topic 4) ==== Fedora 29 status for IoT ====
14:18:54 <pwhalen> are there still networking issues with containers in f29? recall seeing that and might be hitting it on the image from IoT-29-20180827.1
14:19:05 <pbrobinson> #undo
14:19:05 <zodbot> Removing item from minutes: <MeetBot.items.Topic object at 0x7f565b929590>
14:19:32 <pbrobinson> pwhalen: I'm not 100% sure, I'll take a look
14:20:09 <pbrobinson> I know there was a recent change in podman for some of the underlying container networking tech
14:20:20 <pwhalen> ok, thanks. I'll file a bz if I dont find one
14:21:06 <pbrobinson> from containernetworking-cni to containernetworking-plugins if memory serves
14:21:46 <pbrobinson> pwhalen: test on vanilla x86 base container too, would be worthwhile getting a Blocker/FE exception if so
14:21:54 <pwhalen> ok, agreed
14:22:06 <pbrobinson> anyone with anything else?
14:22:57 <pbrobinson> #topic 4) ==== Fedora 29 status for IoT ====
14:23:31 <pbrobinson> #info fedora 29 is now in freeze for beta, bodhi has also been enabled so all updates will need to be submitted there
14:24:50 <pwhalen> let the fun begin
14:25:29 <pbrobinson> #info we now have a fedora-release-iot package and associated policy. I'm going to start to review how we tighten the OS for IoT, feedback/suggestions are welcome
14:27:40 <pbrobinson> #topic 5) ==== Open Floor ====
14:27:52 <pbrobinson> anyone have any general things to discuss?
14:28:54 * pwhalen was hoping alciregi would be here
14:29:04 <pwhalen> I have nothing else for this week
14:30:25 <pbrobinson> I'll leave it open for a minute or two and of course anyone is always able to bring things up on #fedora-iot
14:32:21 <pbrobinson> #endmeeting
