18:13:59 <smooge> The other problem I saw was we have a lot of packages which can't be installed because their deps no longer exist

18:18:00 <smooge> so our old working assumption of stable EL and not needing regular rebuilds doesn't work when the desktop changes greatly or packages are dropped
