16:00:56 <pwhalen> #topic roll call
16:01:08 <pwhalen> Good morning folks, who's here today?
16:01:17 * pbrobinson o/
16:01:26 <coremodule> Hi pwhalen
16:02:26 * jlinton waves
16:02:36 <jlinton> happy new year everyone.
16:02:56 <pwhalen> alright, lets get started
16:02:57 <pwhalen> #topic 1) ==== Stable Releases ====
16:03:06 <pwhalen> Any new issue in our stable releases?
16:03:49 <pbrobinson> no, but with 6.2 in final stages probably worth people starting to test that to ensure it works
16:04:01 <pwhalen> right
16:04:12 <pwhalen> #info No issues reported.
16:04:19 <pwhalen> #topic 2) ==== Kernel Status ====
16:04:26 <pwhalen> Upload a file
16:04:29 <pwhalen> er
16:04:39 <pwhalen> #info   kernel-6.2.0-0.rc6.44.fc38
16:04:39 <pwhalen> #link https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2143601
16:05:21 <jforbes> Rawhide kernels are no longer forcing debug builds
16:06:07 <jforbes> And as a side effect, I have also started building debug kernels (in addition to nondebug) for aarch64, previously we only built debug kernels as an addition for x86
16:06:46 <pwhalen> jforbes: great, thanks for that and the update
16:06:53 <jforbes> That is only in rawhide right now, but I will add the debug kernels for aarch64 to F36/37 soon
16:07:16 <pwhalen> has anyone had a chance to do any testing on rc6? Any issues?
16:07:49 <jlinton> I was running rc4/5 on a couple machines as part of a PCIe regression, but haven't tried the selftests or anything yet.
16:07:56 <jlinton> probably worth kicking that off in the next couple days.
16:09:26 * pwhalen has rc5 running on a few machines, will upgrade today
16:10:09 <pwhalen> Any other kernel news or issues?
16:10:29 <jforbes> None that I am aware of at the moment
16:10:34 <pwhalen> #info Please test and report any issues to #fedora-arm or the mailing list.
16:10:43 <pwhalen> #topic 3) ==== Bootloader Status ====
16:10:54 <pwhalen> #info uboot-tools-2023.04-0.1.rc1.fc38
16:10:54 <pwhalen> #link https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2143983
16:11:34 <pwhalen> Be awesome if people could give that uboot build a go on some of their favourite hardware
16:12:28 <pwhalen> I saw some issues with grub2 last week, but I think thats been fixed (I think it got untagged)
16:12:39 <coremodule> Okay, I can give rc6/uboot some love this week
16:13:54 <pwhalen> thanks!
16:15:05 <pwhalen> #topic 4) ==== Fedora 38 status ===
16:15:15 <pwhalen> #info OpenQA Testing
16:15:15 <pwhalen> #info https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/overview?distri=fedora&version=Rawhide&build=Fedora-Rawhide-20230130.n.0&groupid=5
16:15:54 <pwhalen> Looks like a bunch of issues, has anyone had a chance to look at any of these?
16:17:18 <jlinton> No, but looking at it now, it looks like there is a console problem causing a bunch of them to fail.
16:17:51 <jlinton> at least the text mode ones.
16:19:04 <pwhalen> lets try to go over these this week, get bugs filed.
16:21:21 <pwhalen> Any other questions or concerns for F38?
16:22:08 <pwhalen> #topic 5) ==== Open Floor ===
16:23:01 <jforbes> just to reiterate, F38 will be shipped on 6.2 kernels, so additional testing around 6.2 is good
16:23:28 <pwhalen> Would anyone else like to host the meeting next week? It would be great to spread this around
16:23:43 <pwhalen> on it jforbes, thanks
16:25:11 <pwhalen> Anything else for open floor?
