16:02:52 <jforbes> morning
16:02:56 <pwhalen> Good morning folks, sorry for the late start
16:03:03 <jlinton> NP
16:05:56 <pwhalen> I dont have much for this week, does anyone have anything they want to discuss?
16:06:30 <jforbes> Nothing of import here. 6.1 is looking likely to get an rc8 so a couple of weeks before we start stabilizing for rebases
16:07:15 <pwhalen> I've not done any testing, how does it look for aarch64?
16:07:59 <jlinton> Not really here either, I have 6.1 on a couple machines, but the largest issue I seem to be having is PCIe on the F37 release kernel
16:08:00 <jforbes> Seems okay, though I have done limited testing myself and we don't get too many reports for aarch64 testers in general for rawhide
16:08:39 <jlinton> seems to have triggered some kind of new PCIe AER issues with nouveau I wasn't seeing before (and its largly random, but seems to reliably reproduce with 6.0 but not 5.19)
16:08:43 <pwhalen> I'll get some testing done in the background today
16:08:46 <jlinton> so bisect time, but I've not done it.
16:09:06 <jforbes> that's unpleasant
16:09:08 <pwhalen> jlinton: what device?
16:09:15 <pwhalen> or all :(
16:09:35 <jlinton> No, its just the thunderX2 I have under my desk in the office, the "workstation"
16:09:46 <jlinton> the apollo70 nodes don't have the problem
16:10:07 <pwhalen> ah, ok. Not good for a workstation
16:10:22 <jlinton> so its likely something in nouveau on that machine, cause the honeycomb has the same GT710 and doesn't have the problem afaik
16:10:56 <jlinton> I noticed it a week+ ago, but have been on PTO, and didn't go into the office :)
16:11:13 <jlinton> maybe it was the weather too, it was very random.
16:11:53 <pwhalen> ok, thanks for mentioning.
16:12:04 * pbrobinson is late
16:12:38 <pbrobinson> jlinton: pcie in f37 in what context?
16:12:42 <pwhalen> pbrobinson: We were just going over a couple, I dont have much. We can go through the regular agenda if you'd like?
16:12:48 <jlinton> ThunderX2+nouveau
16:13:00 <jlinton> GT710 (the usual)
16:13:29 <jlinton> but I have both other TX2 and other machines with that card, and I might blame it on the machine, but it doesn't seem to have the problem if I reboot it back to 5.19
16:13:41 <jlinton> so, fun.
16:13:57 <pbrobinson> ThunderX2 is EOL :-P
16:15:22 <jlinton> And the firmware is uh... interestingly despite being a "retail" machine. (it has some big flash about being experimental or some such because they didn't keep the workstation firmware in sync with the server)
16:15:34 <jlinton> so, yah
16:16:23 <pbrobinson> oh was that the workstation thing that was done?
16:17:01 <jlinton> Yah, its a server with what appears to be a different fan profile and little shim to keep it balanced on its side.
16:17:04 <jlinton> lol
16:17:11 <pbrobinson> hehe
16:17:15 <pwhalen> :)
16:17:32 <pbrobinson> I have done a little testing with 6.1 but only one or two devices
16:18:04 <pbrobinson> was going to do some upgrades last weekend but I went away and avoided computers instead
16:18:29 <jforbes> pbrobinson: sometimes that is the better option
16:20:12 <pwhalen> Anything else to discuss this week?
16:21:09 <pbrobinson> not really
