15:00:27 <pwhalen> good morning folks, who's here today?
15:00:41 <rbutler1728> I'm here
15:00:50 * pbrobinson is here
15:02:30 <pwhalen> OK, Let's get started ..
15:02:39 <pwhalen> #topic 1) ==== Userspace Status  ====
15:02:52 * coremodule is here, late
15:02:57 <pwhalen> Any new user space issues?
15:04:55 <pwhalen> I've mostly been looking at Rawhide, but not aware of anything for the stable releases
15:05:03 <pbrobinson> there's the query on arm list for the mass rebuild
15:05:28 <pbrobinson> I've not seen a response from toolchain team but I've also not had time to dig into the bug again to work out if it was resolved
15:07:01 <pwhalen> Right, I dont think there was any response
15:07:15 <pwhalen> #info No reported issues.
15:07:21 <pwhalen> #topic 2) ==== Kernel Status ====
15:08:21 <pwhalen> We had a 5.13 kernel test week last week, with an updated kernel dropped later in the week. No problems encountered, and a fair amount of aarch64 testing.
15:08:29 <pbrobinson> that's not no reported issues, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
15:08:52 <pbrobinson> I suspect with 5.13.3 released upstream that will go to stable
15:09:05 <pwhalen> the rebuild issue is for f35
15:09:36 <pwhalen> #info kernel-5.14.0-0.rc2.23.fc35
15:09:36 <pwhalen> #link https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1781939
15:09:50 <pbrobinson> I was referring to the "#info No reported issues." from userspace status
15:10:25 <pwhalen> Yes, I think the toolchain issue is better to cover under f35 status rather than rawhide.
15:10:37 <pwhalen> er, rather than user space
15:10:52 <pwhalen> #info Please test and report any issues to the list or #fedora-arm.
15:11:03 <pbrobinson> OK, it would go under both IMO
15:12:33 <pwhalen> :)
15:12:37 <pwhalen> #topic 3) ==== Bootloader Status ====
15:12:46 <pwhalen> #info uboot-tools-2021.07-1.fc35
15:12:46 <pwhalen> #link https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1778078
15:13:17 <pwhalen> Any problems with the the latest uboot? Has anyone done any testing?
15:13:51 <pwhalen> pbrobinson mentioned an issue with Rockchip on spi, other than that?
15:14:13 <pbrobinson> I've not had the cycles to debug that
15:16:11 <pwhalen> #topic 4) ==== Fedora 35 ====
15:16:12 <pbrobinson> overall the testing I've done is OK, I need to do more but will likely do that once we hit 2021.10 rc1
15:16:19 <pwhalen> #undo
15:16:19 <zodbot> Removing item from minutes: <MeetBot.items.Topic object at 0x7f4737bf41d0>
15:16:49 <pwhalen> When is 2021.10 rc1 expected?
15:19:54 <pwhalen> #topic 4) ==== Fedora 35 ====
15:20:20 <pwhalen> #info Fedora 35 mass rebuild scheduled to start tomorrow (July 21).
15:20:55 <pwhalen> As pbrobinson mentioned we have a blocker for 32-bit arm
15:21:01 <pwhalen> #info A glibc test hangs upon pthread cancellation when glibc is compiled with annobin turned on
15:21:01 <pwhalen> #link https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1951492
15:24:13 <pwhalen> We've had some compose instability on armhfp, but its looking better with recent kernels.
15:24:56 <pwhalen> Todays compose failed, but it looks like a builder issue.
15:25:13 <pwhalen> #info Latest nominated compose
15:25:13 <pwhalen> #link https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Current_Installation_Test
15:25:39 <pwhalen> #info Rawhide arm/aarch64 disk images fail to boot on Raspberry Pi SBCs
15:25:49 <pwhalen> #link https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1975375
15:26:39 <pwhalen> The blivet change was reverted, so hopefully we get a new build soon.
15:27:09 <pwhalen> If anyone would like to use the Raspberry Pi's now, you can use fdisk to change the partition ID and it boots.
15:28:13 <pwhalen> Anything else for F35?
15:28:19 <pbrobinson> nothing of note from me
15:28:38 <pwhalen> #topic 5)  == Open Floor ==
15:28:42 <pbrobinson> there's a few splats in 5.14 I've seen, I don't think any are fatal, and I've reported a bunch
15:30:41 <pwhalen> same, RC2 looked a little better
15:32:31 <pwhalen> #endmeeting
