15:01:27 * pbrobinson o/
15:01:29 <pwhalen> morning folks, whos here today?
15:01:43 * ahs3 waves
15:02:13 * pwhalen gives it a minute for others to join
15:03:22 <pwhalen> ok, lets get started..
15:03:26 <pwhalen> #topic 1) ==== Userspace Status  ====
15:03:46 <pwhalen> any usage or build issues?
15:04:16 <pbrobinson> none I'm aware of
15:04:45 * rric o/
15:06:01 <pwhalen> one note, Xfce has move from blueman to blueberry for bluetooth. Blueman was crashing on arm and is a blocker for final, I tested blueberry and it worked ok, but wider testing is appreciated
15:06:21 <pwhalen> morning rric
15:06:30 <pwhalen> ok, if no other issues..
15:06:41 <pwhalen> #topic 2) ==== Kernel Status ====
15:07:17 <pbrobinson> so 4.11.7 should be the GA kernel, it's not yet in testing and I've not yet seen a FE for it but I think it's needed for a CVE
15:07:28 <pwhalen> #info Latest F26 - kernel-4.11.7-300.fc26
15:07:28 <pwhalen> #info Includes patches to fix vblank issues on Raspberry Pi 2/3.
15:07:40 <pwhalen> #link https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=911729
15:07:40 <pwhalen> #link https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2017-44d91780a0
15:07:43 <pbrobinson> also in that kernel is some possible improvements to the RPi vblank issue
15:08:08 <pbrobinson> that's *hopefully* fix the vblank issue
15:08:19 <pwhalen> right :)
15:08:41 <pbrobinson> rric: is all the cavium stuff good?
15:08:52 <rric> yes, no issues
15:08:56 <pbrobinson> awesome
15:09:59 <pbrobinson> anyone else?
15:10:51 <pwhalen> for f27, 4.12 rc7 failed to build.. on x86 and i686 :/
15:10:57 <pbrobinson> I don't think so, I've fairly widely tested it across a bunch of devices
15:11:10 <pwhalen> https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=20186803
15:11:14 <pbrobinson> yes, I believe that's an issue due to changes in rpm
15:11:22 <pwhalen> ah, ok
15:11:55 <pwhalen> #info Please test and report any issues to the list or #fedora-arm.
15:12:05 <pwhalen> #topic 3) ==== Bootloader Status ====
15:12:20 <pwhalen> #info AArch64 systems fail to display the grub menu when PXE booted and instead drop to a grub prompt
15:12:20 <pwhalen> #link https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1405208
15:12:41 <pwhalen> we have a new grub2 build
15:12:45 <pwhalen> #info Please test and provide karma - https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2017-01b07bc086
15:12:59 * jonmasters is here
15:13:04 <pwhalen> I tested pxe booting on mustang and seattle, looks good..
15:13:09 <jonmasters> (sorry I'm late)
15:13:22 <pwhalen> howdy jonmasters
15:13:37 <jonmasters> :)
15:13:42 <pwhalen> pbrobinson, anything to note for uboot?
15:14:04 <pbrobinson> so robclark has been assisting with testing and improving uEFI on u-boot
15:14:31 <jonmasters> of course he has ;)
15:14:34 <jonmasters> awesome
15:14:35 <pwhalen> which is awesome, thanks robclark!
15:14:45 <pbrobinson> so while we've missed the freeze deadline I think we should be able to have something nicely usable across a number of aarch64 SBCs in the early F26 time frame
15:15:31 <pbrobinson> we should have images for minimal/server/workstation which a bunch of devices to be able to run them on with some docs on how to get started
15:15:52 <pbrobinson> so while not as early as I would have liked it's looking good
15:16:45 <pbrobinson> jonmasters: do you know if the uefi lite discussion went anywhere?
15:17:06 <jonmasters> no - I can ping folks but I don't have news
15:17:21 <pbrobinson> jonmasters: can you cc: me in
15:17:55 <pbrobinson> so we should be able to support RPi3, Pine64, two 96boards (Dragonboard and Hikey) plus probably espressoboard and a few others
15:19:15 <pwhalen> excellent, gives people some cheap options for aarch64
15:20:12 <pwhalen> #topic 4) ==== F26 Final ====
15:20:49 <pwhalen> #info Testing so far..
15:20:50 <pwhalen> #link https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Fedora_26_Branched_20170621.n.0_Summary
15:21:07 <pwhalen> #link https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Architectures/AArch64/QA/Fedora-26-20170621.n.0
15:21:08 <pwhalen> #info Full list of blockers: https://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/milestone/26/beta/buglist
15:21:34 <pbrobinson> note we're not in RC phase yet, but we are frozen, so as much testing as possible is useful
15:22:24 <pwhalen> we still have issues with upgrades, but this isnt specific to arm
15:23:38 <pwhalen> due to changes in anaconda, the default for /boot on the Server product was changed to xfs (accidentally). Uboot doesnt support xfs and boots on armhfp fail.
15:24:18 <pwhalen> this was rejected as a blocker, but an accepted FE.
15:24:40 <pwhalen> anyone aware of any other issues?
15:26:05 <pbrobinson> nothing from me
15:26:15 <pbrobinson> rric: jonmasters: any issues?
15:26:29 <jonmasters> nothing from me - will poke
15:26:35 <rric> pbrobinson, need to test latest installer
15:26:36 <jonmasters> [gotta run]
15:27:30 <pwhalen> rric, thanks, let us know if you have issues, or better yet add to the results page on the wiki if you can..
15:27:42 <pwhalen> #topic 5) == Open Floor ==
15:27:52 <pwhalen> anything else for today?
15:28:28 <pbrobinson> yes
15:28:29 <pbrobinson> I have one
15:29:04 <pbrobinson> I'm (slowly) re-organising/writing a bunch of the ARM docs https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Architectures/ARM
15:29:23 <pbrobinson> we now have a single landing page for both armv7 and aarch64
15:29:49 <pbrobinson> I plan to merge the install docs to a single one as well, feedback and assistance welcome
15:32:23 <pwhalen> everyone's favourite task.. documentation.. :)
15:32:34 * pwhalen will assist
