15:04:56 <rric> there was a fix for linux-utils and also the kernel
15:05:07 <rric> the kernel fix is not yet accepted afaik
15:05:32 <pwhalen> ah, yes.. lscpu we discovered an issue, pbrobinson filed a bug.. affected rpi3 p64 and yes, is on its way to being fixed. did you see it on your hw rric ?
15:05:36 <rric> https://kernel.googlesource.com/pub/scm/utils/util-linux/util-linux/+/92a6392c41c11bcb49af9f129dfbd1fed651f044
15:05:42 <pbrobinson> rric: kernel for what?
15:05:46 <rric> yes, we see it
15:06:02 <rric> pbrobinson, protect access to /dev/mem
15:06:05 <pbrobinson> it's fixed in rawhide, I tested the rawhide rpms on f26
15:06:17 <pbrobinson> rric: ah, got a link to upstream thread by chance?
15:06:20 <rric> [PATCH v2] arm64: kernel: restrict /dev/mem read() calls to linear region
15:06:22 <rric> https://marc.info/?t=149520862400001&r=1&w=2
15:06:53 <pbrobinson> rric: speaking of kernels, I will get to your patches this week, last week was a bit busy
15:07:31 <rric> pbrobinson, thanks, let me know once there is something I could test
15:08:06 <rric> is there a Fedora BZ for lscpu?
15:08:30 <pbrobinson> yes, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1455238
15:08:48 <rric> pwahlen, ftr, we see it on CN99xx systems
15:09:27 <pwhalen> ok, thanks rric
15:09:52 <pwhalen> someone also mentioned gss-proxy before the meeting , but that sounded like a generic issue?
15:11:03 <pwhalen> ok, will look further after.
15:11:14 <pwhalen> any other userspace issues?
15:11:46 <pwhalen> #topic 2) ==== Kernel Status ====
15:11:57 <pwhalen> #info f27 latest - kernel-4.12.0-0.rc2.git3.1.fc27
15:12:07 <pwhalen> https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=898043
15:12:24 <pbrobinson> rc3 has been pushed to git so I'd expect that soonish
15:13:17 <pwhalen> #info RC3 should be available shortly for testing.
15:13:53 <pwhalen> anyone hitting any issues with RC2 that havent been reported?
15:14:53 <pwhalen> #info f26 latest - kernel-4.11.3-300.fc26
15:15:03 <pwhalen> https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=897788
15:15:20 <pwhalen> #info kernel-4.11.3-200.fc25 is being tested in F25 now.
15:15:56 <pwhalen> #info Please test and report any issues to the list or #fedora-arm.
15:16:07 <pbrobinson> sort of kernel, sort of userspace. There's also mesa 7.1.1 on rawhide/f26 updates-testing. I've tested it on RPi and also imx6 where we should now have wayland accelerated UX
15:16:11 * jonmasters is on
15:16:13 <jonmasters> sorry I'm late
15:16:20 <pbrobinson> jonmasters: no you're not ;-)
15:16:27 <jonmasters> :)
15:17:02 <pwhalen> howdy jonmasters, a little late where you are, thanks for coming :)
15:17:53 <pwhalen> ok, anything else kernel related?
15:18:19 <pbrobinson> I pushed a few minor updates, including some bits around KSPP (kernel self protection project)
15:18:41 <pbrobinson> testing them on mustang/pine64 they all seem to be fine but let me know if anyone sees some issues
15:19:51 <pwhalen> #topic 3) ==== Bootloader Status ====
15:20:25 <pwhalen> #info Data abort when pxe booting with U-Boot 2017-05. Being investigated.
15:20:45 <pbrobinson> nothing major here, 2017.05 is built, we'll likely push a few minor updates here, anyone see any other issues?
15:21:36 <pwhalen> only issues Ive seen are around pxe and appears to only affect some hardware
15:23:18 <pwhalen> #topic 4) ==== F26 Beta ====
15:23:29 <pwhalen> #info Full list of blockers: https://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/milestone/26/beta/buglist
15:24:56 <pwhalen> we're waiting on a fix for the libdb bug before we'll see another compose. Is anyone seeing any other issues with the previous nominated compose?
15:25:29 <pbrobinson> I think we're looking OK for beta
15:25:36 <pbrobinson> we now have cloud/docker images
15:26:07 <pwhalen> has anyone tested docker on aarch64?
15:26:32 <pbrobinson> I have basic F-26 on F-26
15:26:36 <pwhalen> I was hitting an selinux issue previously, need to go back and check it again , update the bz
15:27:29 <pwhalen> https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1440875
15:27:48 <pwhalen> just doing a basic test as well, no custom images created
15:28:09 <jlinton> I didn't have any problems with docker on F26, but I was having problems with kubernetes
15:29:28 <pwhalen> jlinton, bz?
15:29:51 <pwhalen> no worries if not
15:30:07 <jlinton> None, because I didn't spend and real effort on it, I was trying to see if I could get openshift working
15:30:27 <jlinton> I will probably revisit it at some point in the near future
15:31:03 <pwhalen> ah, already in deep water .. ok. if someone has cycles and interest, please test and let us know.
15:31:18 <pwhalen> #topic 5) == Open Floor ==
15:33:11 * pwhalen leaves it open for a few minutes
15:33:17 <pbrobinson> jlinton: side note, I pushed a couple of new versions which moves to mozjs38
15:33:39 <pbrobinson> libproxy/pacrunner
15:34:07 <jlinton> Yah those guys took my patches (eventually).
15:34:18 <pbrobinson> so it looks like there's 5-6 left on js, and 1 left on mozjs24 (besides polkit)
15:34:35 <jlinton> polkit has patches...
15:35:00 <jlinton> which you of course know... :)
15:35:03 <pbrobinson> yes, no comment :)
15:35:21 <pbrobinson> it was more a FYI
