15:35:46 <mboddu> Let's start
15:35:54 <mboddu> #topic pagure
15:36:21 <mboddu> nirik: How is it going? are you able to fix the importer bug?
15:36:35 <nirik> well, I tracked down what the bug was, but not sure how to fix it...
15:36:47 <nirik> basically long ago we had a email to trac gateway
15:36:54 <nirik> so some old releng tickets are made from that.
15:37:16 <nirik> and instead of having a 'username' that opened them, they have a "foo bar <foo@bar.com>" type email address.
15:37:31 <nirik> so we need some way to convert that, and it won't be easy
15:38:08 <nirik> I wonder if it might be best to just go in and tweak the sql to change those... I guess I can look into that this week.
15:38:13 * masta is here
15:38:19 <nirik> not sure how many there are
15:38:53 <mboddu> nirik: okay, are all those email addresses are linked to a user profile or anyone can file them?
15:39:25 <nirik> they were direct from email, so they could be anything. In practice they probibly were real users.
15:40:37 <nirik> or spam I suppose.
15:40:46 <mboddu> nirik: okay, even if you can tweak the sql, how are you planning to handle the non user email addresses?
15:41:09 <nirik> well, I would replace the email address with the username where I can figure that out...
15:42:21 <mboddu> nirik: okay
15:42:38 <nirik> if anyone has better ideas, feel free to add them to the bug.
15:44:00 <mboddu> #info Kevin faced an issue with the tickets that are filed using email. He is looking into solving it by tweaking sql or by any other way that is possible.
15:45:13 <mboddu> moving to next topic
15:45:25 <mboddu> #topic Flag Day on Dec 12th
15:45:41 <mboddu> nirik: I saw you added Q&A to the wiki page
15:45:52 <mboddu> nirik: thank you
15:45:53 <nirik> yep.
15:46:05 <mboddu> is there anything else we need to discuss on this topic?
15:46:09 <nirik> we really need to get all the packages changes out and pushed
15:46:56 <nirik> I think there's a rpkg patch needed...
15:47:22 <nirik> and fedora packager?
15:47:29 <nirik> puiterwijk: ^ you know off hand?
15:47:53 <mboddu> I think rpkg is maintained by Lubos. Correct me if I am wrong.
15:48:18 <puiterwijk> nirik: yes. Both fedora-packager and rpkg patches are needed.
15:48:22 <puiterwijk> and fedpkg
15:48:41 <maxamillion> it is kind of, but I asked Lubos for a +1 for me to make a change, so I did and then it got reverted by someone else and we had a chat on irc about what issues I'd accidentally caused
15:48:48 <maxamillion> (rpkg)
15:50:13 <mboddu> maxamillion: are you planning to fix them?
15:51:35 <maxamillion> mboddu: they are fixed upstream already, I just wanted to pull a patch into the current stable but the process for how to produce the rpm out of the upstream repo isn't documented, so I just did it wrong ... it's been "fixed" such that there are no more problems but I still don't know what the process to update that rpm properly is
15:52:43 <nirik> well, we really need an update... so we should find out. ;)
15:52:57 <mboddu> maxamillion: okay
15:55:30 <mboddu> I am not sure how it will be handled, but is there a way that we can talk to the people and ask them to change and push the packages?
15:56:07 <nirik> I guess we should ping lsedar?
15:56:12 <maxamillion> mboddu: already did, the desired changes will be in the next release
15:56:47 <nirik> maxamillion: but when are they planning that? we really need the next release to be... nowish
15:59:55 <maxamillion> nirik: I have no idea
16:00:14 <nirik> ok, so lets talk to lsedar and/or file a ticket asking for a release
16:00:48 <mboddu> maxamillion: are you talking about just rpkg or all the packages that need an update?
16:01:17 <maxamillion> I think we're talking about something different
16:01:58 <maxamillion> I did nothing for Flag Day, I was mostly commenting that lsedlar is listed as the maintainer but there are other people involved in rpkg that need to be coordinated with, which I learned the hard way
16:02:51 <mboddu> maxamillion: I can schedule a meeting with Lubos, who are all should I invite and who is interested in joining the meeting?
16:03:38 <maxamillion> mboddu: I believe some of those folks are in APAC so TZs might be hard to line up ... I just happened to be on irc at 22:30 local time and someone ping'd me
16:04:57 <mboddu> maxamillion: okay, I think we can check with Lubos today in our stand up meeting(if he shows up) or else I will ping him on irc
16:06:55 <mboddu> #info fedora-packager, rpkg, fedpkg needs patches. Mohan is planning to talk to Lubos when we can expect the next release.
16:07:06 <mboddu> anything else?
16:07:30 <maxamillion> mboddu: +
16:07:31 <maxamillion> +1*
16:07:39 <mboddu> moving on...
16:07:49 <mboddu> #topic Alternative Architectures updates
16:08:01 <mboddu> sharkcz, pbrobinson : any updates?
16:08:44 <sharkcz> mboddu: not much, all seems to work fine, only nightly rawhide composes are missing on s390x
16:09:10 <sharkcz> pbrobinson tried to look, but haven't heard about the outcome
16:09:41 <mboddu> sharkcz: okay, thanks
16:10:46 <mboddu> #info alternate architecture composes are all fine except for the s390x nightly rawhide compose. Peter is looking into the issue.
16:11:19 <mboddu> #topic Two-Week Atomic release
16:11:59 <mboddu> maxamillion: last time you were working on the release script and supposed to get a release on Tue, may I know the update on it?
16:13:36 <maxamillion> that's done
16:13:42 <maxamillion> we released last week right along with GA
16:13:57 <maxamillion> I have a PR in pagure to fix up some things ... just a sedc
16:13:58 <maxamillion> sec*
16:14:13 <maxamillion> https://pagure.io/releng/pull-request/6544
16:15:22 <mboddu> maxamillion: I have seen the PR, but I just understood bits and pieces of it, so I was waiting on Dennis to give it a look
16:16:10 <mboddu> maxamillion: when do you think you need to have them pulled in?
16:16:12 <maxamillion> mboddu: totally fine
16:17:15 <maxamillion> mboddu: whenever, I used a patched version of that script to release last week because the old version totally didn't work (due to changes to various things outside of that script's control) ... so we can get it cleaned up and merged whenever we like, I can limp along the two-week release as long as necessary
16:17:45 <mboddu> maxamillion: okay, I hope someone will look into and merge it
16:19:04 <mboddu> #info Two-Week Atomic release script is working and Adam has created a PR to get his release script changes into releng repo.
16:19:32 <mboddu> #topic OSBS builds
16:20:07 <mboddu> maxamillion: You said you were working on the last know bug and will get a Docker layered image build shortly after thanks giving, are we still on schedule?
16:20:33 <maxamillion> OSBS builds are fixed and upstream patches just got merged (like, literally a few minutes ago) https://github.com/projectatomic/atomic-reactor/pull/587 https://github.com/DBuildService/dockerfile-parse/pull/22
16:20:52 <maxamillion> I'm now working with puiterwijk on krb5 bits in preparation of Flag Day
16:21:16 <maxamillion> I hope to be going to PROD with the new scaled-out deployment early next week
16:21:28 <maxamillion> (need package updates and such)
16:21:44 <maxamillion> also need to finish the krb5 items and test everything
16:22:19 <mboddu> maxamillion: okay, so we might have a build sometime next week?
16:22:34 <maxamillion> mboddu: that's the plan yes
16:22:41 <mboddu> maxamillion: okay, thanks
16:22:48 <maxamillion> mboddu: I want to get the system in PROD and in place and update the docs, then do an announcement to the world
16:23:01 <mboddu> maxamillion: sure
16:24:22 <mboddu> #info OSBS builds are all fixed and Adam is working on getting the system in PROD early next week and is expecting to have a build sometime later that week.
16:24:53 <mboddu> #topic Open Floor
16:25:06 <mboddu> anybody got anything else?
16:26:08 <nirik> I have 2 quick items
16:26:34 <mboddu> nirik: yes
