16:06:13 <jkurik> #info Release candidate compose is available

16:06:25 <jkurik> #topic Current status
16:06:26 <adamw> ahh, the fix is in
16:06:40 <jkurik> #info We have five accepted blockers and no proposed blockers for the Final.
16:06:48 <jkurik> #info Let's start with Mini-blocker review
16:06:55 <adamw> all the blockers on the image are fixed
16:07:00 <jkurik> roshi: may I ask you for a quick review ?
16:07:16 <roshi> sure thing, we have no proposals to speak of
16:07:18 <adamw> dnf issues we have updates for both f21 and f22 that have been tested
16:07:28 <adamw> spin-kickstarts will get built right after we declare the image gold
16:07:51 <roshi> all known blockers are VERIFIED, aside from spin-kickstarts
16:08:23 <adamw> s-k isn't shipped on any image, so we can just push it stable in the final stable push.
16:08:24 <nirik> cool.
16:08:32 <jkurik> adamw, roshi: so it was really quick review today :)
16:09:12 <jkurik> #info All known blockers are VERIFIED, aside from spin-kickstarts. spin-kickstarts will get built right after we declare the image gold
16:09:27 <roshi> yep - my kind of meeting
16:09:36 <jkurik> :)
16:09:45 <jkurik> #topic Test Matrices coverage
16:09:51 <jkurik> #link https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Fedora_23_Final_RC10_Summary
16:10:03 <jkurik> I believe we are OK, here
16:10:07 <adamw> so, as you may have noticed, we transferred a bunch of results from RC3 and RC6
16:10:24 <jkurik> adamw: yeah, I have seen it
16:10:34 <roshi> and the spot testing I've done so far looks good
16:11:12 <adamw> just for the record: this is justified due to the minimal change in those builds. between RC3 and RC10 the only things that changed were a couple of KDE fixes, gnome-software, libssh, libreport/abrt, fedora-release-notes, and yelp
16:11:22 <adamw> we have re-run all of the relevant tests for those after they changed
16:11:49 <adamw> i can go into details if anyone wants, but the summary is, we tested what needed testing. there wasn't time to re-do all the validation for RC10.
16:12:01 <adamw> i didn't bother pasting the RC3/RC6 results into the RC9 table, but same applies there.
16:12:14 <nirik> did the atomic images also get fixed? (not that it matters for this meeting I guess)
16:12:35 <dgilmore> nirik: yes
16:12:35 <mattdm> nirik: as i understand from dusty, yes
16:12:40 <mattdm> dgilmore++
16:12:43 <nirik> cool! :)
16:12:57 <adamw> the one place where coverage is a bit light is cloud
16:13:00 <adamw> all those empty boxes
16:13:08 <adamw> but i defer to roshi for cloud - is it OK as it stands?
16:13:30 <adamw> atomic is non-blocking for f23, i know that
16:13:30 <jkurik> #info Test Matrices coverage looks good. Bunch of results tranferred from RC3 and RC6, relevant test cases for the changes were re-run.
16:13:37 <adamw> but the lack of ec2/openstack results worries me a bit
16:13:56 <nirik> I can run openstack ones real quick if folks want.
16:14:03 <adamw> it'd be nice, i think.
16:14:31 <jkurik> nirik: should we wait before we go to the Go/No-Go decision ?
16:14:49 <roshi> adamw I don;'t know if it's tested on EC2 and openstack
16:15:03 <roshi> I pinged in the cloud channel
16:16:10 <mattdm> roshi: thanks
16:16:38 <nirik> my net is being slow, but it shouldn't take that long...
16:18:18 <Southern_Gentlem> <joke>so everyone run out to the kitchen get a refreshing drink and a beefy miracle and come right back </joke>
16:18:37 <sgallagh> /me may have done exactly that...
16:19:22 <roshi> nirik, that'd be great
16:23:10 <Southern_Gentlem> "Try the Prime Rib and Be Sure to Tip your Wait Staff**
16:23:25 <Southern_Gentlem> .hello jbwillia
16:23:25 <zodbot> Southern_Gentlem: jbwillia 'Ben Williams' <vaioof@yahoo.com>
16:25:14 <nirik> ok, both i386 and x86_64 booted fine, I am logged in. No failed systemd units. All looks well.
16:25:27 <jkurik> ufff...
16:25:42 <jkurik> #topic Go/No-Go decision
16:25:51 <jkurik> lets vote
16:25:53 <roshi> that's good
16:26:00 <dgilmore> releng is go
16:26:13 * roshi is glad to see that local cloud image testing has generally been in line with how it acts on actual providers
16:26:23 <roshi> (aside from the whole qcow2 versioning thing)
16:26:39 <jkurik> QE and FESCo status: Go/No-Go ?
16:26:39 <adamw> per our, with the added cloud test coverage, QA is go; test coverage is effectively complete (just the usual missing hardware tests), no unaddressed blockers
16:26:39 <dgilmore> roshi: thats been fixed
16:26:48 <nirik> fesco is go
16:26:55 <sgallagh> I concur; GO
16:27:21 <mattdm> for the record, what's the state of the anaconda help?
16:27:23 <adamw> nirik: can you stick your results in the table for future arse-covering purposes? it also gives you Super QA Points
16:27:31 <adamw> (note: Super QA Points are not exchangeable for currency)
16:27:35 <nirik> sure. ha.
16:27:37 <adamw> mattdm: it works in RC10
16:27:38 <adamw> oh
16:27:44 <adamw> i guess we should answer the RC10 vs. RC9 question
16:27:51 <mattdm> adamw yay
16:27:56 <jkurik> right
16:28:04 <mattdm> so, uh, in that case, RC10 please
16:28:08 <adamw> i'd say ship RC10. fixing the anaconda help is a big benefit, and the downgraded yelp seems to work generally
16:28:39 <pwhalen> +1 on rc10 (fixed help)
16:28:41 <adamw> i hit one occasionally-reproducible crash in yelp in RC10 testing, but following up on it it looks like a longstanding glib bug and unlikely to be related to the downgrade.
16:28:50 <dgilmore> releng says RC10
16:28:52 <jkurik> sgallagh, dgilmore, nirik: your GO applies for RC10 - right ?
16:28:59 <sgallagh> Indeed it does
16:29:01 <nirik> correct
16:29:04 <sgallagh> RC10-ho!
16:29:26 <zironid> RC10, Anaconda's help fixed ftw!
16:29:48 <mattdm> \o/
16:29:53 <jkurik> considering QE status as GO for RC10
16:30:15 <roshi> so ready to get this release out the door :)
16:30:30 <jkurik> #info The status is GO for RC10
16:30:50 <jkurik> #info RC10 has just been labeled as GOLD
16:30:59 <jkurik> #agreed RC10 has just been labeled as GOLD
16:31:14 <jkurik> #topic Open floor
16:31:24 <jkurik> anything else ?
16:31:27 <sgallagh> Praise to the FSM
16:31:41 <dgilmore> FSM?
16:31:51 <adamw> remember to redirect phoronix's download to the one which just plays a video of a flawless installation
16:32:10 <zironid> adamw: +1 XD
16:32:23 <sgallagh> dgilmore: Flying Spaghetti Monster. I was being facetious
16:32:43 <dgilmore> sgallagh: okay, It went over my head
16:32:55 <sgallagh> No worries
16:33:25 <nirik> sadly no rest for us... we need new spins kickstarts karmaed..
16:33:47 <nirik> a last stable push, switching updates to 0 days, staging content, common bugs, etc. ;)
16:33:53 <adamw> and the updates that need to go stable
16:34:18 <Southern_Gentlem> nirik, build it and message me and i will give it karma
16:34:40 <nirik> I was hoping bruno would build it, but sure.
16:35:10 * jkurik is going to end the meeting in approx. 60s ... is there is nothing else
16:35:25 <sgallagh> Thanks folks
16:35:29 <sgallagh> It's been a crazy week
16:35:55 <sgallagh> dgilmore: Thanks in particular for your hard work
16:36:11 <dgilmore> sgallagh: just doing what needs doing
16:36:50 <jkurik> Thanks all of you, who were working on it. I have seem some people were extremely busy
16:36:58 <jkurik> #endmeeting
