20:00:06 <zodbot> Current chairs: jborean93 nitzmahone
20:00:14 <jborean93> hey
20:00:42 <nitzmahone> #info agenda https://github.com/ansible/community/issues/581
20:00:54 <nitzmahone> and as usual, nothing on it, so...
20:00:57 <nitzmahone> #topic open floor
20:01:26 <briantist> howdy
20:01:33 <nitzmahone> Hey briantist
20:01:34 <briantist> nothing here either, just saying hi :)
20:02:43 <nitzmahone> I started some preliminary discussions with an internal performance and scale group this morning that included Windows testing... We're going to try and get some baselines on how things perform now, so we can actually quantify future performance improvements (and also possibly push it to the point that things fall over, then show we can move that point out)
20:03:25 <briantist> that sounds cool
20:03:33 * nitzmahone suspects they'll be leaning on jborean93's KVM Windows images :D
20:04:06 <jborean93> gonna need a beefy host to run them all :)
20:04:21 <nitzmahone> Heh, doesn't sound like that will be a problem for them
20:04:50 <nitzmahone> Well, if nothing exciting to discuss, will close in 2
20:05:55 <jborean93> Not really much from me, still neck deep in the pypsrp stuff which is taking quite a lot of time. I think I've got a good interface to the Runspace Pool and Pipelines and I'm not trying to clean up the WSMan connection stuff which is getting into the weeds of httpx
20:06:24 <nitzmahone> Are you thinking you might just wholesale move to httpx for both sync and async?
20:06:42 <nitzmahone> (or is this still in the "experimental" bucket?)
20:07:23 <jborean93> I think wholesale but there's going to be a split between the old code that works as is today and the new stuff people should move to
20:07:58 <jborean93> so the psrp connection plugin will work as it is and over time we can swap it over to the new stuff
20:08:02 <nitzmahone> nice
20:08:16 <nitzmahone> OK, closing in 5 ..
20:08:18 <nitzmahone> 4..
20:08:20 <nitzmahone> 3..
20:08:23 <nitzmahone> 2..
20:08:26 <nitzmahone> 1..
20:08:31 <nitzmahone> Thanks all- til next week!
