20:00:30 <jborean93> hey y'all
20:00:48 <jhawkesworth> heya
20:00:56 <jborean93> #chair jhawkesworth
20:00:56 <zodbot> Current chairs: jborean93 jhawkesworth
20:01:01 <jborean93> how's it going?
20:01:29 <jhawkesworth> too little ansible, too much everything else at the moment. How about you?
20:01:54 <jborean93> super busy, I've got so many things on my plate right now and just trying to get through them all
20:02:12 <jborean93> I've finally started on a PR cull and merge and I'm nearly down to my target of sub 25
20:02:22 <jhawkesworth> awesome
20:02:29 <jborean93> but all these little things just pop up that take my attention away
20:03:10 <jhawkesworth> yeah. lots of yak shaving
20:03:35 <jborean93> but we are getting there
20:03:44 <jborean93> currently focusing on the Server 2016 instabilities in CI
20:04:02 <jhawkesworth> would be great to nail that
20:04:03 <jborean93> Has been an issue for a while and we think we have a workaround for now
20:04:41 <jhawkesworth> keeping tests stable is always more work than it should be
20:05:41 <jborean93> yep, but it's just so important as well
20:06:02 <jborean93> Matt won't be here today, he has a few meetings on so it looks like it is just us
20:06:09 <jhawkesworth> ah ok.
20:06:11 <jborean93> anything you would like to talk about?
20:06:30 <jhawkesworth> looks like there's 1 new thing on https://github.com/ansible/community/issues/420
20:06:36 <jhawkesworth> (WWG agenda)
20:06:51 <jborean93> yea I saw that
20:06:52 <jhawkesworth> specifically https://github.com/ansible/ansible/issues/42696#issuecomment-543693235
20:07:07 <jborean93> I actually have a win_find rebuild to make it a lot faster in a branch right now that should also fix that issue
20:07:18 <jborean93> Just need to find the time to polish it up and actually finish it off
20:08:08 <jhawkesworth> sounds great. Other than 'fail fast' philosophy I can't think of a reason not to continue. But I guess irrelevant if its getting a rebuild
20:08:39 <jhawkesworth> other than than, nothing from me. Shall I let you get back to it ( and I'll tackle my tax return :0-)
20:09:16 <jborean93> sounds good
20:09:25 <jborean93> good luck with that, nothing more complex than tax returns
20:10:21 <jhawkesworth> yeah it'll be 'interesting' I worked on the system years ago - I'm hoping they have made it better since then.
20:10:50 <jborean93> Australia government actually has a nice web portal for tax returns for about 3 years now
20:11:17 <jborean93> It's just the whole tax topic is complicated so a splash of paint can only really help so much
20:12:13 <jhawkesworth> very true, only so much you can do to hide the tricky bits
20:13:24 <jborean93> cool, well let's get back to it all
20:13:27 <jborean93> thanks for joining
