15:02:46 <haraldh> <-
15:03:12 <pknirsch> Oki, as we've got a few topics for today, lets quickly jump into it.
15:03:38 <pknirsch> #topic Status buildrequires cleanup work (davids & nils!)
15:03:53 <pknirsch> nphilipp, dazo_afk: any news yet?
15:05:50 <pknirsch> hm
15:06:00 <pknirsch> seems both are afk :)
15:06:04 <pknirsch> lets move to the next topic
15:06:25 <pknirsch> #topic Update on factory-reset work
15:06:31 <pknirsch> haraldh: any news on that front yet?
15:06:39 <haraldh> nope
15:06:50 <pknirsch> oki, next topic then :)
15:06:54 <haraldh> haven't heard any progress from ffesti :)
15:06:57 * pknirsch loves quick meetings
15:06:59 <pknirsch> :)
15:06:59 * vpavlin is late and distracted:)
15:07:02 <pknirsch> heh
15:07:09 <haraldh> maybe vpavlin ?
15:07:20 <haraldh> on the config sub packages?
15:07:25 <pknirsch> maybe
15:08:04 <vpavlin> No, I've been busy with Docker Build Service last 2 weeks, so I just followed haraldh's mails..nothing from my side
15:08:17 <pknirsch> oki
15:08:26 <pknirsch> that directly leads to docker update then though!
15:08:30 <pknirsch> #topic Docker update
15:08:30 <pknirsch> :)
15:09:10 <msekleta> haven't heard any news regarding /run-on-tmpfs yet
15:09:28 <vpavlin> dgilmore: Anything? Nothing from me - same as for previous topic applies :(
15:09:40 <haraldh> oh, I heard about /run on tmpfs
15:09:56 * masta is here
15:10:00 <haraldh> a github comment mentioned they will support it
15:10:50 <haraldh> rhatdan:
15:10:50 <msekleta> haraldh, ha that's great news, haven't seen the comment, notification must have slipped under my radar
15:10:55 <haraldh> After meeting with @crosbymichael and working on a Read/Only image format, I believe this pull request becomes more important. For Read/Only images you need to still be able to mount tmpfs on /run, /tmp and /var/tmp
15:10:55 <haraldh> I think we could extend this patch so that /tmp and /var/tmp work the same way. But /run should be default tmpfs, just like it is on Ubunto, RHEL7, Fedora, Centos.
15:11:14 <haraldh> https://github.com/docker/docker/pull/8478#issuecomment-61152585
15:12:13 <haraldh> but yeah.. it still has to be comitted :)
15:12:16 <pknirsch> sounds good. but this sounds they want to rework the patch then a bit?
15:13:34 <msekleta> not sure, but probably yes
15:14:34 <pknirsch> maybe you msekleta or vpavlin might want to engage then with upstream and help them on the final patch?
15:15:54 <msekleta> pknirsch, sure I can ask rhatdan if they need any help
15:15:56 <vpavlin> I will leave it to msekleta..I need to put more effort to base images so that we have finally:(
15:16:25 <pknirsch> cool, thanks guys, and thats fine vpavlin. being coordinated is a good idea ;)
15:16:58 <pknirsch> Okidokie, so last topic
15:17:13 <pknirsch> #topic Phil on PTO for 3 weeks
15:17:24 <haraldh> HF! :)
15:17:25 <pknirsch> So i'll be away for the next 3 weeks (on the other side of the world, wohoo!)
15:17:42 <pknirsch> so feel free to still run the meetings during that time, maybe just as a checkup where we are with things
15:18:06 <haraldh> oh, and I can't make it next Friday
15:18:08 <pknirsch> and thanks haraldh :)
15:18:23 <haraldh> but the other two fridays I can do it
15:18:51 <haraldh> I mean, lead the meeting
15:18:57 <pknirsch> cool, thanks haraldh

15:22:46 <pknirsch> wow!
15:22:56 <pknirsch> so kdbus is nearly ready? impressive
15:23:19 <haraldh> hmm.. not sure, when I read the comments from other kernel devs
15:23:26 <haraldh> some seem to be very opposed
15:23:29 <haraldh> but lets see
15:23:36 <pknirsch> hm
15:23:48 <pknirsch> maybe it needs a few more iterations
15:23:59 <pknirsch> as long as Linus didn't use any harsh language ;)
