06:15:52 <tagoh_> https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Documentation_I18n_Beat
06:16:40 <tagoh_> does anyone has anything we should mention at relnotes?
06:17:52 <pravins> tagoh_: quickly thinking, i dont have anything specifically
06:18:12 <pravins> tagoh_: what is deadline for same?
06:18:20 <mfabian> ibus-table has improved a lot, but I am not sure whether something like that is worth mentioning.
06:19:10 <pravins> mfabian: we should mention new feature added in ibus-table
06:19:13 <paragan> if there are some new features then you can mention
06:20:06 <tagoh_> pravins: not quite sure. doc schedule is based on the old one and not updated against new one... I guess we should have some time.
06:20:20 <mfabian> There are quite a lot of new features, for example that the radicals are shown when typing cangjie, the sort order of the matches makes a lot more sense, ... many small things.
06:21:34 <tagoh_> mfabian: we should if the feature affects UX, changes UI etc. in other words if the changes is visible to users.
06:22:20 <tagoh_> also the kind of the good-to-know thing for users
06:22:33 <mfabian> The UI, i.e. how to use ibus-table, is unchanged. It only works "better".
06:23:15 <mfabian> Maybe no need to mention, user will find out anyway, there is no need to tell them that they have to do something differently.
06:26:21 <tagoh_> mfabian: sure. I'll leave it to you. though it may be also a good place to get an attension for users. so that may be easy to find them out if something is mentioned there.
06:29:17 <mfabian> “ ibus "ibus reset-config" sub-command is to reset the user setting values to default ones in an ibus configuration. ” <- this is only for ibus itself, not for the current engine, right?
06:30:05 <tagoh_> fujiwarat: ^
06:33:39 <fujiwarat> mfabian: ibus core only. It uses gsettings.
06:34:11 <fujiwarat> I think ibus engines will have the different schemas files.
06:34:24 <mfabian> OK. I thought so. So nothing for me to do in the engine.
06:34:59 <tagoh_> maybe good to mention that too to avoid confusion?
06:35:49 <mfabian> (ibus table has its own "reset to defaults" button in its setup tool (new feature))
06:38:10 <fujiwarat> mfabian: it's CLI :).
06:38:43 <tagoh_> okay, if there are anything else, feel free to add there.
06:38:46 <fujiwarat> ok, updated.
06:38:49 <tagoh_> let's move on then.
06:39:04 <tagoh_> fujiwarat: thanks
06:39:06 <mfabian> fujiwarat: I was just thinking, that maybe when doing "ibus reset-config", ibus sends a signal to each engine like "please reset your configuration now". But it is probably good that it doesn't do that.
06:39:19 <tagoh_> #topic New task
06:39:20 <tagoh_> #info #32: Fedora 21 i18n test day (tagoh)
06:39:20 <tagoh_> #link https://fedorahosted.org/i18n/ticket/32
06:39:59 <tagoh_> as I posted at the list, I've proposed 2nd September for i18n test day to QA and added to the calendar now.
06:41:27 <tagoh_> we need to test all of the test cases on f21 and fix/improve the outdated test cases. also good to suggest if there are test cases we don't need anymore.
06:43:15 <tagoh_> I set the deadline to 27th August. assuming you guys know which one you are expected to check.
06:44:44 <tagoh_> ah, not yet copying test cases. will do that shortly.
06:46:11 <tagoh_> for reference, test day page for f20: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2013-10-29_i18n
06:46:51 <tagoh_> once you finish the check, please add a comment to the ticket.
06:46:59 <tagoh_> any questions?
06:52:59 <tagoh_> if not, will move on.
06:53:52 <tagoh_> #topic Open Floor
06:54:01 <tagoh_> any other topics we should discuss in this meeting?
06:57:25 <tagoh_> if not, will stop the meeting shortly
07:01:44 <tagoh_> okay, let's close the meeting then. thanks everyone for the meeting!
